Answers:
1. Does this software work with USB hard drives?
Absolutely. Any USB
storage device that windows can run AutoPlay on, Automatic USB Backup can
support.
2. Can I use it with MemoryStick, Compact Flash, Secure Digital etc...
Yes you can. Remember that you may have to unplug or power-cycle the device
in order for Automatic USB Backup to detect it.
3. Does
the free trial software have any limitations?
No. The trial version has no limitations. But you do get a
registration reminder screen when you start the software. The
software is FREE to try for 15 days, then you will have to purchase
a license to continue its use.

Does Automatic USB Backup work on Microsoft Vista?
Yes. We have tested USB Backup all versions on the
Vista operating system and it works fine.
5. Can
I backup over a LAN (Local Area Network) using Automatic USB Backup?
Yes. the Professional and Backup&Sync versions support across the
LAN to backup. Simply click the "Display Network" checkbox in
"Advanced mode/Options", then locate your network and add your files from the
networked machine.
6. I
have 3 computers and want to use Automatic USB Backup on all 3, can
I just buy one license and run the software on all 3 machines?
No. The license is sold on a per machine basis, so you will have to
purchase 3 software licenses.
7. Can I use more than one flash drive to back up
the same data, or can I only use the one drive?
Yes, you can use any flash drive or USB hard disk to backup your
local PC files.
8. How
many User Backup configuration files can I set up in Automatic USB Backup?
Automatic USB Backup has been designed to work in any environment.
You can setup as many configuration files as you wish. The user
configuration files can
store as many PC's backup items as required. If you are a single user or
an office administrator, Automatic USB Backup will work for you.
9. How do I enable advanced mode?
Click the "Advanced"
checkbox at the bottom left of the main screen.
10. How do I temporarily
stop the program from running when I insert my USB device?
Easy, just hold down the
SHIFT key when you insert your USB key. This prevents the program from
loading.
11. How do I temporarily stop the program from automatically performing an
action when I insert my USB device?
Simple, just hold down the
CTRL key when you insert your USB key. This will stop the program from
automatically performing any actions, but will still allow you to edit the
settings and manually perform actions.
12. How can I permanently stop the program from running when I insert a USB
device?
If you remove the
"Automatic USB Backup Driver" from the Startup folder of the Start Menu and
reboot, this will stop the computer from running Automatic USB Backup on
drive insert. To re-enable it, just create a shortcut to the
AutomaticUSBBackupDriver.exe in Program Files/AutomaticUSBBackup.
